'Tina' is a diminutive ( a shortened, familiar form.....a type of nickname, if you like) of the name 'Christina'., in the same way as 'Jim' is a diminutive of 'James' or 'Lizzie' of 'Elizabeth'.
It has only become a name in its own right in the past few decades, and has no valid meaning. Any 'meanings' that you might come across on naming websites are recently created, and not historically-based (or valid, imo).
Christina is the female verson of 'Christian' and means 'follower of Christ'.
