What does the name "Mitou" mean? It was the name of my aunt's cat and she said it was French.?
It doesn't mean anything. It's just a name given to an animal, that's all.

Reply:Mitou means nothing. This is a pure invention.
Matou means cat .. So maybe she meant matou ( with a A) but found that Mitou ( with a I) sounded cuter
