What is the meaning of your name or your child's name?
My first name consists of two names :)


Sofia Aleka





Sofia: Wisdom


Aleka: Noble





They chose Sofia b/c it's my paternal grandmother's name and they chose Aleka because it was the name of an actress they had seen on a soap opera and was like "Alexandra"- my grandmother's middle name.








I'm not a jr.





In fact, I'm the only person named "Aleka" that I know of!

Reply:My legal name, "Raven" I picked because of the significance the raven has to many culture. Initiation, death and rebirth, and healing through dark aspects of the psyche. I can identify with the myths of the raven. Are they myths? Look up on Google and see how smart ravens really are! A lot of Wiccans adopt this name because it sounds mysterious or dark, but I do everything for a reason. I love this name!
