I'm looking for a unisex name. I like Djali. Does anyone know the meaning of this name, please? Thank you, Zoe

Djali was the name of a friend's child; a boy. I always liked the name. I believe it has hindu significance.

That's a really cute, unique name. And you're right, it works for both sexes well.

And people, leave her alone, originality is becoming more popular. No one wants 100,000 kids named Pat.

Reply:Yes, it means you liberals have run out of normal American names and now just throw together letters to name your kids.

How about Pat. It worked on SNL...
Reply:Djali. The word "djali" describes a wandering performer/musician/dancer, somewhat similar to a gypsy. The name of the goat in Victor Hugo's Hunchback of Notre Dame (both the book and the Disney movie) is Djali. Pronounced something like "dee-ya-lee.".
